How we use cookies

Cookies at a glance

Short answer: Middlesbrough Patios does not track you. The embedded form uses one essential security cookie and some local storage so that it works, and that is all.

About cookies and local storage

A cookie is a small piece of data stored by your browser when you visit a site. Browsers also offer local storage, which works in a comparable way, so we describe both here.

Consent

Strictly necessary cookies and storage do not need consent under PECR, the UK rules on cookies. Because the form only uses what it needs to work securely, there is no consent pop-up. Any future non-essential cookie would only be set with your permission.

No analytics or advertising

Nothing on this site measures your visit for statistics or targets you with adverts.

First-party cookies

Nothing we serve from middlesbroughpatios.co.uk sets a cookie. You may see one local storage key beginning embedded_iframe, which the form embed uses to lay the form out.

Cookies set by our form provider

The quote form is provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel). When it loads, Cloudflare's bot protection on its domain may set __cf_bm. This cookie helps tell people from bots, lasts about 30 minutes and is strictly necessary.

Information the form keeps in your browser

In local storage on the provider's domain you may find:

• v2_… and v3_… entries: session and visit history, and a browser ID used to show which page your enquiry came from;
• form_progress_…: your progress through the form.

These remain until you delete them in your browser.

Security check

To filter out automated submissions, the form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, which may save an entry beginning cf.turnstile under challenges.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare does not use it to track you across sites.

Clearing cookies

You are in control: delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Without them the form may fail to load, so allow cookies for it when you want to send an enquiry.

Questions about cookies

We will update this page if the cookies we use change. Questions can go to info@middlesbroughpatios.co.uk.
